We Read the Back of Other Nut Bar Labels. So We Created Truth or Nothing.
Introduction
Next time you grab a "healthy" nut bar from the shelf, turn it around. Ignore the glossy green leaves on the front. Ignore the claims of "high protein," "natural energy," or "keto-friendly." Read the back label, line by line. If you need a degree in food chemistry to understand what you’re eating, you’re not looking at real food. You’re looking at a carefully engineered compromise.
The Optical Illusion of "Healthy Snacks"
The modern snack aisle is built on smoke, mirrors, and ultra-processed binders. To keep

production costs low and shelf lives virtually immortal, the food industry perfected the art of the filler.
They take a handful of almonds, fragment them into tiny pieces, and submerge them in high-fructose corn syrup, brown rice syrup, or chicory root fiber. They add soy lecithin to glue it together, palm oil to maintain texture, and synthetic flavors to restore the taste lost during industrial heat extrusion.
Why We Refuse to Play the Game
When we started Truth or Nothing, every contract manufacturer told us the same thing:
"You can't make a commercial nut bar without syrup binders or emulsifiers. It won't hold together. The margins won't work."
Our response was simple: then we change how it's made, not what goes in it. We refused to add cheap puffed grains just to cut weight. We refused to use palm oil to make it shiny. And we swore never to hide behind proprietary "flavor blends."
The Truth or Nothing Promise
Whole Means Whole: Real nuts you can recognize, crunch, and trust. No broken sweepings or processed powders.
Zero Code Words: If an ingredient requires an online search to identify, it does not belong in our kitchen.
Radical Transparency: Every percentage, every origin, and every ingredient is stated plainly on our packaging.
Real Fuel Doesn't Need a Marketing Spin
Your body knows the difference between clean, dense nutrient absorption and a spike-and-crash sugar rush. Whole roasted nuts provide naturally occurring healthy fats, plant protein, and sustained stamina. They don't need synthetic fortification to do their job—they just need to be left alone.
We didn't build Truth or Nothing to be another option on a crowded shelf. We built it as a line in the sand. Either eat real food, or call it what it is.
